Richter Spielgeräte has released a new brochure highlighting some of its loveliest play spaces of recent times, and we are delighted to see two Timberplay company projects included.
The brochure highlights five play spaces as particularly lovely, including sites in Russia, Australia and Germany, as well as a Timberplay site in England and a Timberplay Scotland site in Scotland.
Wonder Woods Adventure Playground by Timberplay
Our sister company Timberplay created this stunning adventure playground at Stonor Park in Oxfordshire.
The play space includes equipment for children up to the age of 15, including sensory play equipment for younger children, as well as the ‘Wonder Wood Climbing Forest’ for older kids. There is also a nine-metre-high Pyramid Tower, Tunnel Slides, a Cradle Nest, Swinging Horses, a Wobble Dish, and fifty-metre-long Cable Way.
Dumfries House, Cumnock, Scotland
Timberplay Scotland has created two play spaces on the site of this beautiful 18th-century mansion in Ayrshire.
Older kids can explore the woodland playground with a Climbing Structure, a Cable Way, a Rotating Disc and other exciting play offers. The Harmony Outdoor area was opened in 2015 and quickly became one of the most popular attractions at Dumfries House, winning a Nancy Ovens award. An Archimedes Screw, Spraying Heads, a Building Site and a range of different water channels provide a child-friendly way to experience the wet elements.
